Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- 1 tomato, thinly sliced
Preparation
- Warm a skillet on medium heat.
- In a medium bowl mix together almond meal, egg, ground chicken, avocado, cilantro, onion, and salt and pepper. Using your hands, create medium-thick burger patties.
- Place olive oil into heated skillet and swirl. Then place chicken avocado burgers into skillet. Heat for 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked thoroughly.
- If patties are really thick, place in the oven on 350°F and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cooked completely.
- Serve on romaine lettuce and topped with some avocado salsa.
